Don't you just love it when someone visits your profile for seven seconds, cut and pastes a 'you stamped me, now you're punished' comment, downrates you and blocks you.



I actually stamped this guy with a 10 rate while his profile was still under construction



I'm used to this sort of nonsense from a whelp, but from a level 24 Incendiary and one who has somehow earned his coven-master's mark ?



Judging from the number of blocked comments on his profile, I guess he's upsetting everyone



I can see his point of view though. Stamps should be special and an honour to receive. Premium members have seen fit to actually pay for the privilege of leaving a carefully crafted piece of art for you - but then people can paste in oversized horrors using photobucket and spoil the whole concept.



Anyhow I can still conduct myself with honour and dignity on VR, the guys profile is worth a 10 and I have left my rating standing

Sports Day was good.



I don't run on the idea that its pointless unless someone is chasing you, so most of the field events I managed to avoid on the basis that I am in the school swim team. When I got to the pool, I showed them my athletes foot and that got me out of swimming too. So I was able to sit back and watch the sky



DaveT really wanted to get out of the day too. He's not much of an actor so a sprained ankle or feeling faint were out of the question. We had to find him an illness ... and a brilliant answer came to me just like that. We had had a thread going on this in House Eternal a while back ... I told Dave my idea and he went off to tell Head of Year that he was suffering from 'Erectile Dysfunction'



The Head of Year nodded wisely and sent him off to tell Mr Stayte, the PE teacher, who sent him off to tell Mr Locker, the Deputy Head, who send him off to tell .... well you get the idea



Luckily there will be a six week cooling off period before I have to meet up with Dave again

Someone has got to be nuts, if they didn't realise that procurators talk to each other



anyhow on to my day:



It is not unusual when I work on very large ponds to find the odd rat lurking around. Today I found monster rat, it was HUGE.



I thought I would let one of nature's creatures return quietly to its habitat to do it's rat thing ... live and let live etc etc ... mostly because I had failed to kill it with a pump handle, strimmer, skimmer net and a stone

It said "Turn handle to open" ... what it didn't say was that 'opening' the emergency window exit on the bus didn't open it like a door on hinges, it made it drop out.



I didn't actually do the turning but everyone who was on the bus has had their exiat cancelled until next Wednesday and we all have a letter to take home. This mean that I will miss the geography *ooh look another rock* trip.



*sigh*

Some people who have been on here a while with me would realise what a big deal this is for me



There is one sick thread in the sandbox right now. It really, really touches a very, very bad nerve with me. Once upon a time it would have got me freaking out - I have just posted a calm and short response and let the author stew in his own ****



No panic attack, no tears ... nothing

Today I saw a fight



I have seen school yard fights and brawls on the TV police documentaries but this is the first time I have seen a 'real' fight



There's a little shop in a nearby town. This guy is always there serving people, he's always happy and smiling, he's really polite, helpful and treats children with the same respect as adults which goes a loooong way. You just sort of know that he will treat you right if you treat him right and it simply wouldn't be fair to do anything wrong to him. I also always thought he wouldn't say boo to goose.



Today I was in buying chocolate and this drunk guy comes staggering in and falls into a chiller full of bottles. The storeguy helps him up and is guiding him away from all the broken glass, when the drunk suddenly turns on him and hits him in the side of the head.



The nice storeguy just stepped back and said 'enough, you stop that!' the drunk went to hit him again but never really got to move his fist. He was sort of twirled round by the wrist, flipped onto his face on the floor and knelt on until the police arrived



Awesome ... storeguy is now right up there with the SAS in my book
